David J. Longa M. 

 

Born in Caracas, Venezuela. 

 

David José Longa Mendoza, born in Caracas, Venezuela. He began his music studies at the "Nucleo la Rinconada", one of the music schools of "El Sistema", founded by José Antonio Abreu.

Studied composition at the Anton Bruckner Private University Linz and "Music for Applied Media" at Danube University Krems. He is based in Austria. 

He works as a freelance composer and orchestrator.

Participation as a composer in numerous festivals and various interdisciplinary projects and own projects. 

His music is inspired by contemporary music but in a polystylistic style ranging from atonal to electronic, including music for video and sound design.
